Introducing Ben Yexley: flatfair’s new Partnerships Manager

Ben Yexley

We’re delighted to welcome Ben Yexley to the flatfair team as our newest Partnerships Manager. He’ll be teaming up with Adam Ali to help spread the word about flatfair, and how we can make life easier for tenants, landlords and agents.

Ben joins the team with a wealth of knowledge across the property industry, having previously worked for The Guild of Property Professionals (under GPEA Ltd). For the past year, he worked as a regional manager for 140 branches across East Anglia; prior to this, he was Team Leader of the Account Management team in Mayfair. It’s safe to say, he knows his stuff.

So what attracted Ben to flatfair? “My parents became private landlords of their own student properties in Hatfield a few years back, and I got involved in helping them manage them,” Ben explains. “It was an interesting experience, and we did encounter a number of tenancy issues (such as tenants disappearing mid agreement)… it got me interested in how the whole process of letting and renting could work better for both parties.”

And so Ben discovered flatfair. “It’s a fantastic solution for all users, agent, tenant and landlord – offering benefits all round,” he says. “It’s also a very viable business model, contrary to some of the other proptech companies out there that are looking to make a quick buck at the cost of one of the above.”

Ben’s already hit the ground running, so if you haven’t met him yet, the chances are you will soon. He recently co-hosted the first group induction session for Century 21 franchisees and staff at flatfair’s offices with Adam, and it’s sure to be the first of many.

Is he daunted? Not for a second. “I’m really looking forward to getting our partners excited to pitch the flatfair offering to landlords and tenants alike,” says Ben. “It’s a brilliant solution to a real world problem – I mean, what’s not to love?” We couldn’t have put it better ourselves.
