Finishing your tenancy can feel overwhelming — cleaning, packing, bills, inspections. But knowing what’s expected of you (and what isn’t) makes it simple.

- Return the property as clean as it was at check-in.
- Report damage early and allow access for repairs.
- Remove all belongings and rubbish.
- Pay rent and bills up to the agreed end date.
- Hand back all keys on time.

**Your rights:**

- To be charged only for proven damage or cleaning beyond fair use.
- To see clear evidence - photos, invoices, and inventory comparisons.
- To dispute unfair charges through your deposit scheme or flatfair’s independent resolution process.
- To receive any refund or balance promptly once everything’s agreed.

**Fairness works both ways:** landlords can recover genuine costs, but not profit from upgrades or vague claims.
