After extensive evaluation of other deposit alternatives on the market, Hunters began their partnership with us back in 2019, offering flatfair No Deposit across 89 branches.

How their tenants have benefitted
By replacing a traditional deposit with a one-off membership fee of one week’s rent (+VAT), so far, Hunters have saved their tenants a total of £447,381 in upfront move-in costs.
That means on average, Hunter’s tenants have saved £634 each. That’s heaps of money and will go a long way to help them with the upfront cost of moving house, and they could even put it towards the more exciting things in life, like a holiday, a shopping spree, or to make their new house a home.
Although tenants are just as liable for end of tenancy charges as a traditional deposit, our work with Hunters shows that No Deposit not only keeps move-in costs low, but helps tenants to save money throughout the entire renting process. Only 33% of Hunter’s tenancies with flatfair end in charges. And for those with charges, the average amount totals just £81.60 each, so Hunters have seen vastly improved tenant behaviour. Which means less stress for everyone, when the time comes for tenants to move out.
Music to landlords ears
Seeing much improved tenant behaviour makes life a lot easier for their landlords at the end of tenancy. But on the occasions where things may go wrong, flatfair have already provided a total protection of £1,137,669 for accidental damage and/or rent arrears.
50% of Hunters landlords choose to rent their properties with flatfair No Deposit, this figure has risen by almost 25% this year alone, all benefiting from market-leading protection of up to 10 weeks.
